Salesforce & Slack Integration

Overview:

Slack is a platform intended to streamline communication and collaboration between your team. Integrating Slack and Salesforce will help you close the gap from shifting between separate platforms, increasing work productivity and efficiency. While Salesforce is the keeper of your business data, Slack provides a platform for teams to communicate and collaborate in real time. From Salesforce sending messages to Slack when a record is updated to team members sharing records never having to leave Salesforce; all while maintaining control over who has access. Things are moving faster, but without compromising the security of information.

Problem:

The company I was consulting for was experiencing a drag in communication and record sharing across their growing team. They needed to increase their process  efficiency and improve customer experience.

Solution:

After hours of research, Slack was determined to be the best platform to Integrate with their Salefoce.org to mediate the problem they were experiencing. After integrating Slack with their Salesforce org, to improve cross team communication I configured an automated alert to notify the Sales team of new Hot Leads. As a result, sales' team members have been able to follow up and close on hot leads quicker!
