Anchor- Local Film Production
In preparation for my passion project, I've been focused on getting practice with hands-on projects outside of the Salesforce-Trailhead platform.
I came across this project from a guy named Kyle Battle I follow on LinkedIn. Shouts out to Kyle! He had a series of projects he'd host on Saturdays for free called Anchor Saturdays. From there the demand increased and he took his talents to Teachable where he has a library of projects to choose from with various themes. Within this site, he has one project that is free, this being the project I started with just to test out the product to see if it fit my learning style. First I'd like to say, following along with him came easy. He flows through each step with ease and he has no problem with being wrong. He gives clear and concise explanations on why a step was taken versus another. I thoroughly enjoyed this project and plan to purchase more in the future.
Following along this particulat project opened my eyes to the fact that due to Salesforce's ability to be such a flexible platform, it's important to take a step back and really understand your prefered outcome to a business problem. There are many ways you can go about solving a problem, but they all might not fit the situation.
